Jamuna Apartments Residents argue with Builder: part 2

 (Please click on the heading)  Builder instructs Mr. Mahesh Choudhary the Jamuna Apartments Labour Contracter to collect payment (due upto 31 Mar 2020) from him. After that Mr. Mahesh is free to withdraw his manpower as the builder won’t be paying any salary to the labour. Mr. Kalsi is telling the builder that handing over of the maintenance activities can be done only if proper sewerage connection is given to Jamuna Apartments. Mr. Singh is raising question about the borewell. Mr. Kalsi is clearly telling the builder that society can take over only if all the necessary documents / bills / permissions are checked. Builder is telling that he has not received any maintenance charges after 31 Mar 2020. He further tells that administration will get the elections held and the President will be chosen. Deficient / Incomplete Services at Jamuna Apartments

However the project is still not complete even after the delay of 5 years. Many Services remain deficient/incomplete/absent till date. The Team JARWA (2020) has taken over the maintenace activities without proper handing over/taking over and without ensuring completion of the various facilties/installations. Team JARWA (2020)keeps on harassing Residents of Jamuna Apartments: Entry of Ola/Uber/Taxi/cab

 (Please click on the title to read the full post.)SDM (Kharar) has clearly clarified in writing that Taxis/Ola/Uber/Cab are very much allowed inside the Jamuna Apartments Colony. Here is the complaint filed by the aggrieved residents of the Jamuna Apartments along with the remarks of the SDM. In spite of that the JARWA (2020) team keeps on harassing old aged senior citizens of the Jamuna Apartments. They are forcing the residents to get down at the gate and then walk down. It seems JARWA Team considers itself above the law of the land and don't mind even violating the orders of the SDM Kharar.

Complaints against Jamuna Apartments RWA (Regd 2020)

More and more residents of Jamuna Apartments continue to lodge complaints against the unauthorised and illegal demands being made by the Jamuna Apartments RWA (Regd 2020) which are against the Punjab Govt. Orders. Why are people being fleeced of their hard earned money in the name of unreasonable and excessive maintenance charges? Here is a copy of one such complaint lodged with the Executive Officer, Municipal Committee, Kharar.   EO , MC, Kharar has taken cognizance of this complaint and issued a strict warning letter to the President JARWA (2020) and the MD Jamuna Apartments. If they don't stop demanding unauthorised charges from the residents, strict action would be taken against them. Here is the copy of the warning letter.

Proceedings of General Body Meeting held on 04 Oct 2020

(Please click on the title to read the full post.)  A General Body Meeting was called by Shri Kalsi, President JARWA (Regd. 2020) on 04 Oct 2020 (Sun) at 1100hrs at the Community Hall of the Jamuna Apartments, Kharar. The salient points of the proceedings are given as follows:- 1.       Madam Neeru Seth welcomed all the residents. She requested all the residents to remain united as ‘Unity is strength’. 2.       Mr. Boparai pointed out that the JARWA committee had not come prepared and they seemed to be not properly organized. They had not circulated any agenda to the residents. It seems that the JARWA committee lacked experience and hence must consult seniors/elders. Few hot-headed Residents argue with the builder and create problems for the rest of the peaceful residents.

  Few hot-headed residents protested against the special treatment given to few privileged people. They gathered at the Jamuna Apartments Gate and protested. In the afternoon the builder arrived to pacify the angry residents and calm down. Here in the video, angry residents argue with the builder and raise many demands including pending dues of the previous years. The builder was doing a fine job till this event happened. But the misbehaviour of the residents seems to have angered the builder who later enhanced the maintenance charges of the residents by almost 40 % per month. Had the immature residents not misbehaved with the builder, the builder would have never increased the maintenance charges that too during the corona pandemic. Builder is quite sensible and a gentleman at heart. Builder is not to be blamed but the few immature residents. Maintenance Charges of Jamuna Apartments Reduced on Orders of the Punjab Govt

 JARWA (Regd 2020) President Shri Kalsi and Shri Mahesh Choudhary (Labour Contractor of Jamuna Apartments) were summoned by the Punjab Govt. Officials and ordered not to increase the maintenance charges thereby violating the Punjab Govt. Orders. President JARWA Shri Kalsi and Shri Mahesh Choudhary have both signed the letter thus accepting the Punjab Govt. Orders.  Finally the dispute has been settled amicably. Thanks to the JARWA (2015) & the residents who filed a complaint with the Punjab Govt. to get justice for all. Thanks to  Shri Kalsi and Mr. Mahesh also for finally obeying the Punjab Govt. Orders. Now it has been decided that the residents will pay the following monthly maintenance charges wef 01 Apr 2020 (no GST charges are to be paid since the RWAs are exempted from the GST).
